• Take a mini roadtrip up HWY 1 to Ragged Point to catch a stunning sunset

• Highly recommend kayaking in Morro Bay’s calm lagoon—perfect for spotting marine mammals.

• Take a one-mile stroll down Moonstone Boardwalk, which meanders all along the breathtaking coastline

• Fiscalini Ranch Preserve offers an easy blufftop hike that’s perfect for a scenic, dog-friendly walk

• Montaña de Oro features a variety of hiking and biking trails for all skill levels. While it’s not the most dog-friendly state park, it has one beach called Spooner’s Cove, where you and your pup can relax and spend the entire day in the sun
